5. 5 month old projectile vomits morning bottle

My daughter is finally drinking her milk again after a phase of barely consuming anything doctor said due to teething.

Just recently she has began to projectile vomit her morning bottle only. I make another straight afterwards and she drinks that one fine. She also drinks the rest of her bottles no problem.

Does anyone know what could cause this?

Wind? Happened me a few times just as I went to wind mine and my pyjamas and her sleepsuits needed changing. hasn't happened in a few weeks though and has only happened on a small number of occasions.

Also are her bowels regular? If it's every morning maybe give your HV a phone for advice

Yeah she poos fine.
Has only happened last 3 days or so. Yeah could possibly be wind!

She could be so hungry that she’s gulping the milk, this creating wind and the projectile vomit. Could you try feeding her more slowly or with a slower flow test just for the morning feed?

Are you feeding her as soon as she’s up or waiting a little while by changing nappy etc? Could be letting her hunger build up, so better to feed her as soon as she is up.
