Perfect Prep - How often do you clean?

How often do you clean and change the filter?

I clean it monthly and change the filter when it asks me to.

However my baby has Gastro, 6th day now and isn’t keeping his milk down. I’m wondering if it’s got to do with the perfect prep (even though my husband had Gastro last week and logically he’s probably just caught it from him, but want to rule everything out!).

I tried to take the back off but couldn’t get two screen off. Like they made sure you couldn’t take them off? They are top and bottom screws so parallel to each other. I used a torch to try to look in on one side but all I saw it wires, no tubes.

Tried to get it off to see if there’s any mould.

Your HV will probably say that yes, the gastro is from the PP.

I clean mine every month and have a reminder to change the filter every 3 months (but the reminder light usually flashes before this).

The inner of it would only get mould if it's in a warm place - has the tank warm light ever flashed on? The cooler place you can store it the better.

Have you also looked at other possibilities of where you LO could have gotten gastro?
