Best formula for reflux babies?

My two week old daughter has been diagnosed with reflux. I am having real problems breastfeeding her. She is fine in the day but will not latch on at night and spends most of the night snuffling for food but when I offer her my boob she is not interested. I know she is probably doing this for comfort but with two other children I am exhausted and am thinking of putting her on the bottle. I don't really want to express so does anyone have any tips or can advise me on the best formula for a baby with reflux. SHe is currently taking gaviscon, rinitadine and don peridone four times a day. Thanks

Dd had horrendous reflux and was on gaviscon, and then my health visitor suggested trying her on nutramigen formula - after 2 bottles, the reflux stopped, like flicking a switch. It works for dd because we have discovered that she is lactose intolerant, but it might be worth trying. Ask your hv or gp - nutramigen is available on prescription, which is a godsend, as it costs £12.50 for a 400g tin. Aletnatively, I believe SMA do a formula called 'stay down', which is supposed to help refluxive babies, but I have never tried it.

Cow and Gate comfort and SMA staydown are supposed to be good for reflux babies. I have never had to use either of them so dont know how effective they are

My ds had Omneo Comfort which was good ... you can buy it in most supermarkets or boots.

be warned though it does lead to really grim nappies until they get used to it!

my ds was prescribed enfamil by docs (after advice on here, docs didnt have a clue what it was) and hes so much better, still a bit icky but its tiny amounts here and there, not a whole milk feed every feed!!
