Weaning off bottle help!

So my baby will be 1 next week and I have started trying to get him to use a beaker rather than a bottle for his milk.

At the moment he has a 6 oz bottle of full cows milk in the morning and a 9oz bottle of formula at night. I have offered him milk in the day but he doesn't seem fussed. I will be changing his last feed at night to full cows milk once he is one.

He has a beaker with water throughout the day and has no issues drinking from that and will pick the beaker up himself to drink from it. However, the last 2 mornings I have attempted to offer his warm cows milk in his beaker and he point blank refuses to drink from it. He will spit the milk out and then close his mouth so tight so you cant even try and feed him with it yourself!

Am I doing something wrong? He has taken to the cows milk perfectly but I am concerned that he wont drink it from.anything other than his bottle. I really want to get him off his bottle as I have been told they shouldn't have one after 1 but I dont know what else to do!

Put the bottle in the bin. He’ll take it from the cup eventually
