EBF baby poo-laxitives?

Sorry if this is long. But I could do with some advice.

So, many DD is 3 months old.

She is EBF and appears to be feeding very well (she will occasionally take a bottle when we encourage her, but is certainly not hungry for it-were just trying to get her used to a bottle). She feeds on demand, and goes anything between 2-5 hours between feeds. Usually 3-4 hourly.

The only thing is she poos on average 4-5 times a day and they are HUGE and completely liquid! I mean COMPLETELY liquid. She is absolutely fine in herself otherwise. No rash, not irritable. She wakes for feeds. Very alert. Hitting milestones. Pees a lot. No sign of dehydration. Basically she's a very happy baby. Just poos a lot.
She hadn't been weighed in ages so I asked the HV to weigh her. She's always on the smaller side and while she has gained weight she hasn't quite followed her centile (as in she was right on the 9th/maybe very slightly above and now she's more on the 7th, so not a drastic drop). Also, my husbands family are all very petite so she could be following in their footsteps.

However, as I have food intolerances the HV has referred us to a paed and I've given up dairy on her advice. I'm happy with this, but no massive changes in bowel movements. It's been around 10 days now.

However, for weeks now I've been REALLY constipated and have been prescribed a couple of laxatives to take, both suitable for BF (lactulose and laxido) went away this weekend and forgot to take them...and her poos her much better. Assuming it was the dairy free I carried on as I was, and they've become very watery again now I'm back.

Could it be the laxatives? Has this happened to anyone else? As I said it doesn't appear to be causing any issues, but I don't want it to be a problem.

Also, I'm continuing with dairy free as I understand it can take longer than this for it to sort her out.
But I'm just wondering if anyone knows about these maxi robes.

I would say liquid poo in ebf baby that age is normal...

Omg. It autocorrected laxatives to maxi robes 😂😂

Totally normal. My DS's were like watery korma

Thanks both.
I mean, at the weekend they were wet and seedy. Now it's all liquid.
Hopefully this is just normal then Smile

They are meant to be quite liquidy, think peanut butter if you watered it down to the point you could almost drink it. But I also wouldn't be suprised if the laxatives could have an effect. Eating prunes while bf can effect their bowels, so I wouldn't be shocked that the laxatives might. Can you stop taking them for a week and see?
