My DS is 14 weeks and I am looking to start weaning off breastfeeding. I am going back to work in September so want to do it really gradually so we can both adjust without rushing it. What are the best ways of going about keeping the comforting connection breastfeeding gives mum and baby? I’m really worried about feeling like he won’t need me anymore! I’m also getting anxious about actually using formula after being used to just whipping a boob out when he’s hungry 😩😳

Worth trying if he takes a bottle first. I wanted to start weaning my DS of BF at 5 months so that by the time he's 6 months he'd be FF. well he's now 6 months and I'm still BF 😅 as turns out he's a bottle refuser and spits out formula. Now I've started weaning him with food it's loads better although can't see me stopping BF anytime soon despite having to go back to work in 3 months 😣
The bond is already there so I wouldn't worry about that at all.
