Storing expressed breast milk

Hi - sorry I know this has been done before but I am still confused! I have expressed breast milk that is 5 weeks old in the (slightly leaky) freezer bit of my fridge. Do I have to throw it away?

Thanks

It depends on the star rating. If it is just one star on the door then 1 week is the max. I think to store properly for more than a month it should be in a 3* rating freezer.
I would chuck it if in doubt.

can you get a thermometer to check the temperature in your freezer?

I was told by SCBU that I could keep breast milk in the freezer for 3 months. Not sure about the star rating thingy though . . . and slightly leaky freezer sounds a bit dodgy!
