Follow on milk

Has anyone put their baby into follow on milk at 6 months? Or kept them on first milk? H/V Says to keep him on first milk till 1.

HV is quite right.
see paragraph re "follow on" formula milk. Not necessary for babies.

Invented by formula companies to get round the no-advertising of infant formula rules imo.

DS1 stayed on stage 1 up til 12m then moved to cows milk.

You don't need it but if you can get it cheaper when it's on deal (1st milks can't be promoted) then you might as well, it's very similar to 1st milk

I used follow on milk from 9 months as it was cheaper
