My DD is 7 weeks old.
Occasionally for the past few weeks she will clamp down her jaw then pull her head away (therefore pulling my nipple with her!). She does this mid feed and only once every few days, but it's bloody sore when she does it.
It seems to come from nowhere, so while I break the seal and bring her off the breast, she's already hurt me.
It's always on the right side.
It's not a lasting, agonising pain, but I'm already experiencing a bit of pain on that side (thought to maybe be Reynolds's or some kind of blood restriction as my nipple goes white and is very sore when I'm cold).
Any ideas how to stop her doing this? Otherwise BF is going well.
