Breast pain after pumping

So I express milk for 5 week old DD but I’ve been expressing today and my whole breast aches, it’s not really the nipple that hurts it’s just all over the breast. It also feels warm/hot.

Is this engorgment or have I done some damage when expressing?

If it's not resolved I'd get to the GP; could be mastitis.

Could be a clogged duct. Do you have any hard bits in your breasts?

Could it be the setting on the pump was too high when pumping? I used to whack it right up when i first started and whole boob ached. Then read online it doesnt always need to be on a high suction and didn't have the problem again when i lowered the setting
