My 12 week old is constantly getting stomach issues, he was originally on cow and gate and constantly had upset stomachs, often smelly and green in colour and with mucus present, so following the HV's advice switched him to SMA milk. Since doing this not a lot has changed, and we decided to take him to the doctors as it seems to me to be a milk allergy. (As I have one myself)
I suggested this to the doctor and he said that it's too soon for him to be diagnosed with one at such a young age, and could try colief drops if I really wanted to. We tried them and they helped a little, but it's still happening.
We really don't know where to go from here, does anyone have a similar experience or advice?
Do I switch him to lactose free milk anyway to see? As I'm worried about doing so if that isn't the issue.
