Losing the will with toddlers eating habits

DS is nearly 2 and was a perfect baby for weaning, eat everything we gave him and moved only lumper foods well.
However he now is going through a really fussy phase where he won't eat things with a strange texture: Mince, Pasta, Rice pudding, cooked chicken, lamb, beef or pork. Won't eat lasagne, cottage pie spag Bol etc. He just pushes it to the front of his mouth and sticks his tongue out going 'Yuck' and then spits it all out 🤦🏻‍♀️
Somethings come out quicker than others!
It this a common thing for toddlers not to like some textures or is there something to be concerned about? Or has he just decided hat he doesn't like these things?
He eats well otherwise, cereals for brekkie, toast with various toppings and sandwiches with various fillings for lunch, hot cross buns, and dinner chicken dippers, COD bites, waffles, sweet potato chips with peas, beans, sweet corn, peppers, cucumber and tomato.
He snacks well, healthy snacks and eats all fruits.
Any similar experiences much appreciated!
