Which size nursing bras?

Hi all.

I'm planning to breastfeed and I am looking at nursing bras. I'm really stuck on which size to get.

I am still currently in the same cup size as pre pregnancy (a B) but my back size has increased. They haven't gotten much bigger.

I don't want to buy a B cup for them not to fit. I'm 34 weeks pregnant.

Does anyone have any advice? Thank you

We need your measurements first before we can comment (under bust and over bust while bending forward)

I'd wait until your milk comes in. I didn't and ended up with useless too small bras

There’s no real way of predicting I don’t think. I would just buy yourself a couple of soft maternity bras that have a bit of room in them for first couple of weeks and then buy yourself some more down the line once your size has stabilised.

Buy one (plus a couple of soft sleep bras) once you get to 38 weeks, buy a couple more once you are 5 days postpartum as you could dramatically change (or at least keep in the packet with receipts). Do have a look about to see where you will buy them from but unless you have issues you will be able to get measured and buy the right size this way. I went to a department store that had appointments and crucially it's own car park - the staff all crowded around dd (4-5 days old) and they had a lovely sofa to feed her on (a nice first feeding in public experience!)

I’d get super stretchy ones, the kind that come in S/M/L sizing instead of band/cup sizing until your milk supply has settled down. You’ll need the comfort anyway! I got some from jojo maman bebe
