If your toddler self-weaned...

How did you feel in the days afterwards? (Apart from relieved lol).

DD2 is 3.2 years and was down to one 2 minute feed before bed for the last few months, but stopped of her own accord 3 nights ago.

I have since felt exhausted and like I’m coming down with something, bit sicky, sore head, not much appetite.

I’m wondering if the 2 things are linked. I feel a bit flat but was expecting that with the hormone changes.

Did you have any side effects if your toddler self-weaned?

Could you have mastitis?

No I feel fine that way, as it was such a gradual process. It’s more nausea and exhaustion.
I think I’ll just take it easy for the next while and hope it settles down.
