Baby won’t take powder formula

DD is 12 days old has has been happily drinking ready made Aptamil and 3 bottles of expressed breast milk every day.
Yesterday I tried to move her on to powdered Aptamil during the day as the ready made bottles are super expensive. However she didn’t take too well to it, only took tiny bits of the bottles and was clearly hungry.
I’ve gone back to ready made for now, but does anyone have any advice on how to make the transition to powder?

Could you try introducing it slowly, say one ounce at a fine mixed with the ready made? So if she has 5floz, mix 1floz if powdered with 4 floz of ready made and she's if she will take it. Once she's used to that, do 2 floz of powdered and 3 floz of ready made.

Thank you, I’ll give that a go.
I’m going to give her a few more days on the ready made then I might introduce 1 powdered a day and see from there.
I’ll try mixing it too.

Apparently the ready made ones are a smoother mix there was a thread on here a while back that gave some good tips re trying to get the powder to have the same consistency. One thing we found that helped was to swirl the powder to mix it after the hot water rather than shake it as it made it less frothy in the bottle which seemed to help DS take it. Hope that makes sense!

There's been a few articles about Aptimel recently. They changed the formula and it's doesn't dissolve as well. I had a similar issue, and switched to Aldi's own. Made by Aptimel, and £8 a tin. He took it straight away and no problems since.
