Reflux help

I think 2 week old DD has reflux.

I’m not sure what to do? She’s formula fed and I try to burp her regularly during the feed but she screams as she gets inpatient. I try keeping her upright after a feed but today I put her in her bed and she started to be sick. I’m worried she’ll choke on her sick or something

Do she vomit a lot OP? Are you feeding on demand or going by a routine or schedule?

Can I ask if she has any other symptoms that make you think she could have reflux?

How are things now @fuckbeingaparent

If it helps, I was told by a paed at hospital that babies have a natural instinct to turn their heads to the side when being sick. I still watched mine like a hawk though just in case!

If you think something is wrong, best go to the GP - IME they’ve always got time for a tiny baby, even if there turns out to be nothing wrong.

Hi all!

@fuckbeingaparent - she also suffers from hiccups a lot, chokes and is sick often

Things are going ok today. I keep her upright after a feed for 20 mins but still a worry

@Njh1986 - Thanks! That makes me feel a bit better
