A letter printed in the Western Morning News on Saturday...

'I cannot understand why any mother whould wish to breast feed in public. It is surely a most intimate loving act between mother and child and should be observed by their nearest and dearest, not by strangers. What next? Football fans allowed to urinate in front gardens?'

Please feel free to write to the editor and remnd the world that breast feeding is just that - feeding - and that we do it in public because our babies are hungry! and that it is as far from urinating or toilets as anything could be!

Sorry - I don't visit here very often but this has made me rather irritated and its nice to have somewhere to vent!

Jo and Rosy (9 months) who often breast feed in public!

morning all, i breastfed my youngest until she was 18months old, i had to feed her outdoors many times had no choice it is still intimate outdoors i didnt expose my breasts to anyone no harm was done, its there problem if they dont like it tough i say. I have a problem now though when the children got to ex p s house at the weekends he feeds them junk food eg macdonalds because he is so lazy to cook, the kids come back to me all hypo, i feed them a healthy diet when they are with me y cant he just respect me on this. Dont get me wrong im not one of these mums who doesnt let them have fast food ever, like when they get invited to parties and things just occasionally not every weekend
