HIPP formula

My little one has been on cow and gate which he seems fine on other than he is constipated and not easy to wind at all. I'm looking at changing his milk to HIPP as he had this in hospital and was good on it.

Anyone use HIPP?
Would you recommend?

I've not used but both of my DN were fine on it. Is it easy to buy where you live?

Our DS was mainly fed expressed breast milk with a top up of formula every day due to my supply and we went with Hipp- never had any issue with colic or winding. I didn't want to use SMA due to being a Nestlé boycotter and found the one time he was given that he vomited it all up again, so u do believe different babies are better off with different brands?

@JiltedJohnsJulie yes very easy to buy here, all the supermarkets sell it which is useful.

It's what the hospital used too and he seemed good with it, although still didn't like to give up his wind.

I was looking to express but didn't get any milk 🤷🏻‍♀️ I luckily had expressed colostrum before he was born so he had that for a few days. I've read a few babies on cow and gate have constipation so wondering if it's just something that happens with it. It's a shame as it suits him well other than that, and if I have to swap HIPP is the one I'm liking

It sounds like it's worth a try Smile

Have almost exclusively used Hipp (used another nice German brand called Holle early on but was too disorganised to order it online in time and couldn't get it locally) - have no complaints.

How long ago/ how old is he?

You could try a good electric pump ) hospital grade one).

We use hipp with no issues. We also tried kendamil which resulted in nappies a bit more like a breastfed nappy (no constipation issues there!) although she was a wee bit more sick, and it was smelly sick!
