SMA powdered milk TASTES SO BAD!

Seriously it made me gag. I’ve read about people saying it tasted bad, and metallic but I think this smells and tastes like off meat or lamb? My baby won’t touch it unless I’ve mixed it with a ready made SMA carton to cool it down therefore diluting it.
Is it just us or anyone find the SMA extra hungry is a bit funky?

Erm, if your baby doesn't like it, rather than mixing it with ready made (wft?) why don't you simply buy something else?

You really shouldn't be messing with it in the way you are - if you're baby doesn't like it then change it.

Haha I’m not persevering with it, it’s been fine until we opened this new tub. Health visitor said it was totally fine to mix milks to cool down etc.
All I’m asking is has anyone else noticed the smell or is this a dodgy batch.

Also baby is teething so maybe this is why she’s fussy, not the milk. Trying to decipher what the problem is.

Topping up with cold milk on the health visitors advice. She said it was a great way to cool a bottle in a hurry and 3 months later, not a problem. But thanks.

Don't really get the point. Just cool it in water or use ready made all the time

Did you actually taste the milk yourself?.. I can't say I have ever done this. They all smell funky though
