Accidentally Mixed Hipp Milks - Throw Away?

Hi all, I’m after some advice from experienced mummies please!
I had a bit of a moment this morning and managed to pour a sachet of Hipp Comfort (bought to try but didn’t make a difference) in with my storage box of Hipp First! There is probably a 1:3 ratio of Comfort to First in there right now. My little girl (9.5 weeks) normally has a little Carobel mixed in for silent reflux but I do that at bottle stage so it’s just the two mills in there.
Should I throw the whole lot away? I don’t want to upset her tummy but equally that’s about £25 worth of milk in there and if it’s safe to still use it then I’d feel less wasteful doing so.....
Feeling like an absolute donut right now. I blame this Leap 2 constant hunger/sleeplessness/no napping period we seem to be going through atm!

Please.....anyone? Don’t want to poison my child but equally am fairly poor atm (teachers’ maternity pay doesn’t go far!)

Minor sure on mixing the formulas, maybe call Hipp about that?

How long have they both been open for?

NicoleNoPants · 30/01/2019 23:10

No idea OP but in solidarity about teachers Mat pay

YouBoggleMyMind · 30/01/2019 23:13

If it was me, I'd just carry on using it but appreciate that is not likely to be many others' view. What's the difference (not familiar with comfort/hungry baby milk)?

Njh1986 · 31/01/2019 04:14

The First one was opened earlier this week, and the Comfort one last Friday. Forgot to tell my OH and he fed her a bottle of the mixed stuff this evening and she seems ok.....will probably have to call Hipp just to reassure myself tho!

NicoleNoPants - yes, teachers’ pay in general sucks big time but I was shocked at the mat pay. Going back in July to ensure full pay over summer to claw back some cash....

I think it's probably ok, as long as you use/discard it in the right time but I would check with Hipp Smile

Not sure why it would be a problem. She can have either one, or both together as its not like the combine in to some other chemical. Also they mix the exact same ratio of powder to water. It's totally fine.

I've mixed milks before when I've been making say a 6 oz bottle, and had three scoops left of the old one. I'll use that and open a new tin (which is a different kind as I can't always get my usual one) for the rest.

I have mixed comfort milk with normal milk when weaning DS onto the normal stuff.
It was fine
