Storing Breast Milk - Layering in freezer?

Hi all,

Im currently EBF my 4MO, and i would like to know if its safe/possible to ‘layer’ breastmilk in the freezer.

I’m currently expressing in the mornings about 2-3 ounces, and i want to know if its ok to add to previously expressed and frozen milk from the previous day. I would obviously cool it before hand so its chilled before adding to frozen milk in a 6 ounce container i have. But is it safe to do so.

I did milk donation and this was the method they told me to use. As long as you know the original date (the first milk in the bag/bottle etc) it's fine 👍
