9 weeks - engorged and fast letdown

My supply has suddenly increased this week, boobs massively engorged and leaking tons. I’ve got a Haakaa that I use to catch the letdown on the other side and I get 1-2 ounces every time. What’s happened? Thought my supply should be regular by now? Dd is sleeping more at night but even during day my boobs are like boulders Confused

I regularly went through this with my first but supply settled much more readily with my 2nd and 3rd.

When I switched to bottle feeding at 4 months (return to work) turned out she guzzled a whole bottle in about 2 minutes flat Shock

@RandomMess did it ever even out for you before the bottles? Woke up today and soaked through two shirts and a massive puddle in bed. Worried I might end up with mastitis or something? Read on Kelly mom about oversupply but don’t want to try blockfeeding in case it dries me up.

Yes it did, never had to resort to block feeding but if you do have oversupply you May have to?

What's your baby's weight like. I have this and am worried my baby is overweight

Cardiffclare88 · 26/01/2019 12:35

@newlyfrugal She’s huge, gone from 25 ventile at birth to over 90 now. Health visitor said not to worry but she’s nearly in 6 month size clothing Confused
