Any ideas for when you're short on time? My conscience is being to nag me for having fish fingers and waffles too often?

Pasta? Normally goes down ok with mine. Either with tuna and sweetcorn, tomato sauce with some extra veggies grated in, or cream cheese with salmon and broccoli

I do a picky tea for dd when she’s being a fusspot - salami, cheese, veggies, hummus and pitta etc. All I have to do is chop and serve.

Batch make small portions of favourite meals, takes a bit of work, but when you’re knackered all you need to do is microwave and serve. I buy ramerkins for portion sizes and steam veggies whilst they’re mircrowaving. Easy!

Scrambled eggs go down well here. I mix in some peas and smoked salmon/ham for a bit of variety.

Spaghetti and (shop bought) meatballs
