Hi all, I’m currently breastfeeding DD who is almost 1. I’m due back at work and have been trying to replace her afternoon feed with formula. She’s doing fine with it but I’m worried its affecting my supply for the evening feed, I still feed her to sleep and during the night. I know that’s probably not great at her age but as we’re about to go through this period of change with her starting nursery etc I don’t want to rock the boat anymore!

So basically I’m just wondering if it’s possible to only breastfeed outside of office hours or if I should mentally prepare myself for stopping!

Don’t think you need to stop breastfeeding day and night. I BFed DS when I went back to work when he was a year old, we continued till he was 18 months when he self weaned. DS started cow’s milk at 1 year old so didn’t need to introduce formula. You could try expressing perhaps if that’s possible?
