9m/o baby has lost interest in milk

We are doing BLW with our almost 9 m/o baby. He is very big and healthy (in the 90th percentile for both height and weight) and he loves to eat. He used to drink A LOT of formula - over 1000ml - as well as 3 meals a day but now he is refusing all his bottles except one in the morning and one at night. So he’s only drinking about 320ml per day now. Is this normal? I’m worried he’s not getting what he needs from his food. Should I start giving him snacks as well? What do/did your babies eat at the same age?

Milk should still be providing most of his calories and I’d expect him to be on 3 or 4 bottles a day at that age. Maybe have a chat with a health visitor for advice? I’d be reducing his portion size a little until he got to 500mls a day of milk, but I can’t give you that advice!

If he is down to under 500mls then he will need to be on vitimin drops
I would be giving snacks to replace dropped bottles
But if he is happy and gaining weight then I would just let him stick with food rather than formula

My LG is almost 9 months and currently has
7/8oz on wake
Breakfast
Snack
Lunch
7-8oz about 3ish
Dinner
8/9oz before bed

Thank you - it makes me feel better to know what other people are doing. I currently live in the middle of nowhere in a non-English speaking place so I don’t really have anyone else to advise me!
