Infacol vs gripe water

Hi! My DD has been struggling with trapped wind. She's EBF and 4 weeks old. We've been using infacol since 2 weeks old but she's still uncomfortable (although it's definitely helped a bit).
Does anyone know if you can use infacol and gripe water at the same time?

I've also seen Colief and dentinox, are these better?

It's horrible seeing them in pain! X

Neither. There isn’t good evidence to suggest they actually help.
It might be worth going to breastfeeding drop in to check your latch. Some babies find a gentle tummy massage helpful.

We tried both and dentinox seemed to be the one that made the difference.
I found that part of the problem was my powerful let down when breastfeeding which meant baby was gulping. I used to take him off the breast and wait for 30 seconds (have a muslin handy!) and then latch him back on when it was slower.
Also really thorough winding after each feed.

Great thanks! I do have a very fast let down so will try that.

I'm also hoping to go to a BF support group soon

Detinox is the one the doctor recommended for my two
