EBF for 9 months... time for a bottle

Hi all, just wanting a bit of advice.
Have been EBF for 9 months and want to continue breastfeeding but would like bed time feed to be a bottle.
I’m just wondering how much I should be giving? Baby currently has a breastfeed morning, mid morning, after lunch, mid afternoon, bed time feed and once maybe twice at night. On 3 meals a day but blw so who knows how much they’re eating.
I have no idea how much milk he has during the day but is quite efficient at feeding.
I’m not concerned about him taking a bottle as he’s keen to put anything in his mouth and will eat anything I give him and does well will a sippy cup.

I have no ideas when it comes to volume of milk for the bed time bottle.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

I assume you mean formula? I believe there are guides on the box. Make up a bit over the guideline the first night (or more if that's generally a bigger feed). Next night 1oz more than he drank the previous night. You should pretty soon get an idea for his much.

Also, if I was you I'd just give the milk in the sippy cup, better for teeth and easier to wean from (when the time comes).

Don’t worry about the guidelines on the box, those are for ff babies and you’ll drive yourself nuts trying to get a bf baby to drink the same quantities.

I’d make up 5 floz and see how much baby will drink of it. Don’t worry if it’s just one or two flozs at first Smile

Thanks for the responses. I’ll go with a sippy cup.
Yes it’ll be formula.
