5 month old is vomiting more, Could it be the teat size?

5 month old has recently started vomiting more of his feeds up, mostly every time and anything from immediately to an hour after. He was on a teat size 1 until about a few weeks ago and I think it coincides with this ?? I’m not sure as I can’t remember but seems likely? So anyway he is now on size 2 teat and takes the milk well (was fussing before an getting bored on teat 1).
So my question is, is he drinking too much??? He is about 5 1/2 months and had 6 oz bottle every 3 hours (5 in a day) and then 1 5oz bottle as dreamfeed. Totalling 6 bottles a day and around 30-35 oz a day. He is a big boy, 98th percentile on height and weight.
He’s also teething. Was never a sickly baby really. Any advice?

Not a bottle feeder but my daughter also had a sticky stage around that time. Could just be one of those things?

thank you, it could be the age. You never know with these babies until afterwards I find!!!

Really interested to hear experience of this. My 5.5 month old has also just moved up teet size and today puked up almost every feed. Took him to gp who thought it was reflux. He’s never had reflux issues and has literally only been sick 4/5 times in his life. I think the faster flow teet could potentially be the cause as he is eating way to fast and screams when I try to slow him..

Btw I feed almost exactly the same amount as you which is about right for s baby this age.
