Winding baby

Does anyone else have trouble burping their baby at a certain time of day? My baby is 3 weeks old tomorrow but for the past 4 days Around 7pm after a feed he seems to get really bad wind and it takes us ages to wind him, it’s always around this time in the evening. Should we try infacol or gripe water?

In my experience gripe water is best worked very well for mine.

I don't remember it being a specific time but dd2 was often hard to burp. We used infacol in the end and it did help. Also sitting her up with her chin in the palm of my hand and straightening her back helped.

My LO is a nightmare to wind but we learnt a new trick last week... Sit him on your knee and pivot him around in a circular motion. It's amazing! The wind pops right out and he seems to enjoy it!

Have a look at The Tiger in the Tree hold on YouTube, it’s great for getting up wind.

If it’s the same time every evening, coukd baby be tired or hungry?

Mines like this too! It's a combination of trapped wind and cluster feeding. We used infacol and the tiger in the tree which has helped her settle eventually
