6 month old suddenly refusing bottle?

I've been weaning him off the boob for the last two weeks (with success) and we got to a point where he happily took a bottle whenever. Now however, since he's had a cold and been a bit under the weather, he is absolutely refusing a bottle. I want to believe it is because he's been poorly but I'm panicking that he's never gonna take a bottle again. I've tried everything, I've tried different teats. I've also tried putting formula in his sippy beaker thing which he loves taking water from but he started screaming the second he put it in his mouth?! I've tried different formula as well. What else could it be? Do you think he'll ever go back to taking a bottle? I really want to stop breastfeeding as I'm returning to work soon :(

Is he taking one now?

Very very reluctantly and he'll only have 4 oz a time max!

At 6 months he only needs 20 floz in 24 hours, so I know it’s frustrating but you should be able to get that into him if he’s taking 4 floz. Some ff babies never take more than that in one go Smile
