Urgent question about pre sterilised disposable bottles

I am off on an MN meet up tomorrow and want to take some EBM from the freezer but my steriliser has broken so cant sterilise a bottle. I have one of the pre sterilised disposable bottles in my cupboard. The bag is still airtight but it is left from ds1 so could be as much as 3 years old. Will it still be ok?

How old is your babe ? Sterilising is not really necessary after newborn period...kitchen clean is good enough imo

if you are that worried, just stick a bottle in a pan of boiling water for ten minutes, that will sterilise, but as mozhe says, sterilising isn't strictly necessary. would not have thought any problem with ancient disposables.

i used a 4 year old one with no problems!I did wonder the same thing, but couldnt find a use by date on it,but as its air tight and sterilised couldnt see why couldnt use it.

He's only 8 weeks which is why I want to be extra careful. And dont have a dishwasher.

Might boil a bottle in the morning though if I have time. Cant believe I didn't think of that

It should be fine though shouldn't it?

I really wouldn't worry. I think rtkanga is the one to ask about it. She was advised not to sterilise at all iirc, and hot soapy water and air drying is perfectly sufficient.
