No wind

Hi, new to Mumsnet! My little boy is 4 weeks old and he is a nightmare for getting wind up! We've tried a few remedies (infacol, certain winding positions) and none of them seem to work, he's grunting and growling and tensing up and looks like he's in pain which is hard during night feeds. It's getting a bit unmanageable to the point where I've struggled getting food into him this morning (like he knows what's coming!) . I don't want to overreact so does anyone have any tips or think I should take him to the doctors??

Thanks in advance 😊

My eldest took ages to get wind up. Try sitting him on your lap across your legs then just gently rocking so almost lying down then up and forward a bit then back down. Do a few times then back to patting on the back. Unfortunately some just take a while to get wind up.

Have a look on YouTube at the Tiger in the Tree hold too.
