Do you store formula in the fridge then heat in microwave?

I have a 6 month old and I'm slowly stopping breastfeeding and introducing a bottle. I'm just wondering how many of you prepare bottles in advance and store them in the fridge then heating them up in the microwave when needed? I'm aware this goes against guidelines but I'm struggling with preparing them as and when he needs them because he's used to feeding on demand and he's more of a grazer.

It's not advised to heat them in the microwave because of hot spots. Heating in hot water is the recommenced (slow) method. Can you replicate a perfect prep machine? That's what I do - keep 2/3 bottles with 5oz of cooked boiled water in them. When I need a feed I boil the kettle, put 2oz in a clean bottle, add the powder & shake and then top up with the cooled water. I find it quick & easy. x
