Is it normal to be up for nearly 2, sometimes 2.5 hours before baby falls back to sleep? I seem to very rarely get the times where shell have a nappy change, feed and drift back to sleep straight away. Ive stopped trying to soothe her back to sleep until shes restless so usually ill put a blanket on her and give her her dummy then either have her on me, or in her bouncer.

Im asking because even though at the moment its okay im thinking this is going to be hard work, and tiring when I eventually return to work..

How old? In the early weeks I would be up for about 2hrs before DS2 would settle. Now at 5m it’s 15mins for a feed then back down to sleep.
