Tongue-tie - aftercare, infacol?

Had our little ones tongue tie devision done today and forgot to ask the midwife:
Can we still use infacol whilst it’s healing? I’m petrified of the chance of infection. Anyone shed any experience?

We were told we could continue as normal with feeding & infacol. DS had his cut twice because of how bad it was, the only thing we were told was be careful with putting bottle teats/dummies in
