Low milk supply in evenings.

Hi.
So.... I think I don't have enough milk for my 5.5 month old in the evenings. I've exclusively breastfed since birth, apart from a bottle of EBM about once a week. However in the last couple of weeks she just doesn't seem satisfied.
After her feed after her last nap she cries immediately after finishing and needs distracting to be happy again. After her bedtime feed she sometimes cries as though she's not had enough, and her sleep is getting worse. I wonder if I don't have enough for this feed as she sleeps so much better if she's had a bottle of EBM than if I've fed her.

I'm thinking of giving her a formula feed before bed (it would be waaay to much effort to express enough off for each evening) but I'm worried that this will then decrease my supply overnight. Unless I maybe still express in the evening..?

Anyway one else experienced this?
I know in theory my body should make enough milk, but I just don't think it is.

Any advice appreciated 🙂

(This is my first post so I'm hoping I've done it right)

It’s very, very unlikely that you don’t have enough milk. At 5.5 months your supplyvwill be very well established.

Do you offer both breasts? If you think she’s not had enough, it’s fibe to put her back on the first breast again and keep swapping until she’s satisfied Smile
