Have decided to give up breastfeeding 11 month old DS. He wakes up constantly in the night, I'm exhausted and not doing well mentally atm.
Last feed was Saturday morning, then DH took the kids to his parents for 4 days. It's now Monday evening, so 2.5 days in. Boobs feel heavy and quite sore but are still soft-ish.
When can I expect the pain to subside and normal feeling boobs to return? A couple days? A week??
