Formula - are there still problems with aptimil?

My ds is 1 and so he drinks cows milk now rather than formula. I seem to recall that just after we switched to cows milk there was a change in the aptimil formula (which is what he was having before we switched to cows milk) and it was causing lots of tummy aches in kids.

We are taking a very long plane flight in a few weeks and I was planning on taking some of those cartons of ready made formula for the flight because I’m not sure how I would keep milk cool otherwise. Obviously my go to formula would be aptimil but given they’ve changed it should I shop around to see what other options there are? And what is considered the “best” one these days?

Thanks in advance for anyone who can answer such a boring question!

The ready to drink cartons were not affected by the change. However it really shouldn't matter which formula you choose at this stage.
Also, Aptamil is marketed as a premium brand. Cow and gate is made in the same factory. All formulas have passed regulations so they contain similar ingredients, just in varying amounts. I wouldn't bother with aptamil again. Using Hipp Organic now. Much cheaper in most places.
