avent electric breast pump

I have the hand pump which I think is fab, much better than the medela mini electric I have and never use because it takes twice as long for half the amount I can get with the avent.

I was thinking of buying the avent electric one, but don't want to make another costly mistake.

Does anyone have one and is it as good (hopefully better!) as the hand pump?

i have the avent isis pump, i don't know whether it's just me but i have found the hand function on it better than the electric! you pump by hand at first for the correct speed and then press the button for it to carry on for you, i often switch back to the hand one as i seem to get more milk faster that way. the noise also annoys the hell out of me but i'm sure that's the same for all electric pumps!
