Restarting breastfeeding

Hello there my little girl is 7 weeks and i breastfed her until 5 weeks but i am wanting to starting feeding her again if possible i have been leaking a small amount and i can squeeze out a few beads of milk i have been offering boob before feeds and my little girl has stayed on for a couple of mins and seems to be taking deep sucks ive also been pumping around every 2 hours when i can again im getting a few beads of milk each time ive also had tingling breasts now and again is this a good sign? Anything i can do? Im going to my local breastfeeding support group Tuesday can i also hear your success stories please? 😊

Turned up to the bf support group a day late!!! Stupid baby brain and i knew it was a monday but for some reason i had tuesday in my head!!

Don’t worry, we all do things like that. Is there a LLL group nearby? I’m sure the LLL Leader would be only to happy to help. If there isn’t one, give one of the BFing Support Helplines a call and ask if there a BFC in your area that you could contact Smile

Yep - call them! You have every chance of restarting. It's significant your little one is happy to go to the breast and starts sucking :) And the tingling. And the presence of milk.
