Breastfeeding and work adjustmants

Just wondering whether there is anyone out there who has had to have adjustmants made to their job to accommodate breastfeeding? Not the use the corner of the fridge for expressed milk variety but working fewer hours or leaving work to go and feed lo.

isn't there some legal obligation to give time to express or go & bf?

Yeah I think so just wondering how/if it works in practice.

some one should know - hope you get the info you need.

your employees have an obligation to give you a private area to express if you need to do it in works time. if its possible to have baby brought to you to feed, then they have to accomodate that to. if you look on maternity alliance web site they have all the legal info and it would be worth speaking to your employers before you return to work
