Baby breastfeeding at night, not eating at nursery

Hi,
My 13 mo has started at nursery last week and seems to be settling well. We cosleep and he will have a bit of breastmilk overnight and a tiny bit before I go to work or he goes to nursery. Whenever I pick him up I have been told he doesn't eat much, and when he is at home he tends to just pick at his food.

I don't really want to stop bf as it works for us, but Im wondering if anyone has encountered this, or can give me any advice how to help him eat with his friends?

Thanks!

Encountered the not eating much at nursery I mean. Today for example he hasn't had his breakfast or any morning snacks.

It took my ds (14 months at the time) about 2 / 3 weeks before he started eating at nursery. He would refuse anything offered. I took in things from home and he would just pick / refuse them too. I was quite worried but they said occasionally it happens during settling in period. Once he decided to start eating he was eating normally.

He used to go 3 afternoons a week.

Hope that helps

@Dovegrey18 thank you for replying, that does help a lot. Ive now given them a list of what he likes, and will try taking some food from here.
