Missed feed

I usually feed my babe at midnight, 3am, 6am, 9am, 12pm, 3pm, 6pm, 9pm.

We both overslept and missed the 9am feed, I didn't do it until 10:30. I feel terrible.

Should I feed again at 12 or move all her feeds up 1.5hrs from now on?

She's a week old, I wake her to feed her bob then bottle

Is there a reason your feeding 3 hourly? Does she need to gain more weight? I’d just feed on demand at this point and try not to let it go too long between feeds until she’s a bit older. As for right now I’d feed her if she was showing signs of hunger but leave it if not.

If just feed her when she’s hungry.

I never fed at a set time. Feed on demand.

The advice for this age is to simply feed when they ask for it. Is she hungry ?- she'll be crying if she is!! Try not to worry I'm sure she would have let you know if she needed it. I would feed her extra if she crys but leave her if she doesn't.
Unless there is a reason for her needing to be fed so often I would try and relax and let her tell you when she's hungry a bit more.

Yeah she's little so it's a feeding plan from the hospital, it's more relaxed that it was originally.
She usually wakes up just before the feeding time, or she's at least crying a bit

I used to have to wake my preemies to feed them. Don't worry about, feed her at the next feed, dont panic if she doesnt take as much as she'll be fuller from the late feed.

I understand the stress. I fed one of my twins twice and not the other one once, and couldn't figure out why she was hysterical.

Sounds very similar to the feeding plan we were on a few weeks back. If you fed at 10.30 then just change the times to 3 hourly from then. Or maybe do 2.5 hourly for a few feeds if you're worried.

Are you breast then bottle feeding? Do you want to switch to ebf and do you have a plan if so?

My rule of thumb is if they were asleep they weren’t hungry :).. but then mine were a total nightmare if i woke them to feed, they needed to be properly hungry, which if they were it woke them..
