Sorry if this has already been posted but has anyone seen this website , recommended by my MW?

"
Our aims
-To enable breastfeeding mums to enjoy the same freedom and flexibility as those who bottle feed by providing a list of venues they are welcome to feed their child at without the anxiety of being asked to stop feeding or leave (its does happen!)
-To increase the confidence of mums who choose to breastfeed by making it easier for them to do so in public
-To reduce the stigma of breastfeeding in public and thus encourage more mums to start and continue to feed their babies themselves.

worthy enough idea, but honestly, isn't it just nicer to go along wiht mums you know anyway and not make a big deal?
never had problems bfing in public, had alot less hassle than those bottlefeeding. Sorry, I know this is meant well but I think more effort should be put into getting professionals/counsellors better trained up to support women to be able to bf in the 1st weeks rather than publciity stunts. Just my view, hope i haven't offended you.

I wondered if anyone would mention that, and I agree with you that actually places shouldn't be divided into bf-friendly and not - they all should be! I'm hoping that, at least up here (it's a local site) that naming and shaming unfriendly places will shame them into treating people better.
