Goats milk

I have changed my baby's milk from cows milk to goats milk,
Her poo has gone from a soft mustardy type to hard stools and is in real pain passing
Is this normal and will this eventually change??

Goats milk formula is now approved as a milk from birth in the uk. It has been in other countries for a while. I used it with dds after about 5 months as an occassional bottle alongside bfing.

It could be the switch causong constipation. But also spots and breakouts happen during the first few weeks, that is normal.

Its an absolute myth that any formula is closer to breast milk. In the UK all formula is virtually identical by law. Goats milk is just a different source of the same ingredients that are in all formula.

You need to see a GP or HV at least to talk about if your baby has an issue with cows milk and get a proper diagnosis.
