Bit embarrassing. My nature bond pump and the Tommee Tippee bottle I store breast milk in smells of slightly sour breast milk. My partner says he can’t smell anything but I definitely can. They get a thorough scrub with soap under boiling hot water immediately after every use. Yesterday I steam sterilised then soaked the Nature Bond in hot water and bicarb for a few hours then scrubbed again and then soaked overnight in hot soapy water and scrubbed it again and rinsed well and left to dry naturally. The bastard thing still smells. The Tommee Tippee is nowhere near as offensive. I’ve considered sterilising solution but I’m not big on chemicals around baby. Thought about the dishwasher but thought it might take on those smells. Any ideas?
