Help - which bottle - combination fed baby

EndlessEgo · 09/08/2018 14:11

I am 36 weeks pregnant with my 3rd baby and want to be able to breastfeed but also express and bottle feed so that oh can help out.

My previous two children both refused the bottle so any tips on what bottles are best for this and when it is best to start them on the bottle would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

We had very good results with a mildly fussy DD when she got on the Philips Avent ones

The “natural” ones, not “classic”

I use tommee tippee closer to nature and they are very good

Mam! Went down well with my lo. They are supposed to have a 97% acceptance rate for bf babies, I think?!

We found with the avent the flow was too fast, tommee tippee was refused outright. My dd took munchkin latch but ds found it too big. He was younger so smaller mouth. Mam was our winner and was recommended to us by several friends.

I'm using dr browns. The flow is slow.

Mam bottles were recommended to me when I asked fellow MNers a few months ago. I bought some from Boots and they're great. The ones I bought are "self sterilising", so if you only use them occasionally you don't need to bother with a big steriliser. I had to send my DD to my parents for the night to get her to take s bottle but now she's nearly 11 months and combo feeding.
