Switching to formula

Been dropping a few feeds each day this week and giving ready to use formula which so far is going great, i've been expressing slightly to relieve engorgement. Now we want to start exclusively formula feeding slowly, using powder so I have a few questions! DD is 7 weeks

How often should I sterilise bottles?
How do you pre make bottles? How many oz should I premake in each bottle?
At night, do i need to leave the bottles in the fridge and get one as needed or can i take a few upstairs?
What do you do when out and about, carry flask of boiled water? or premake and use a bottle bag?

TIA Grin

Rosie, this is a good info leaflet and I think it answers your Qs:

www.unicef.org.uk/babyfriendly/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2008/02/start4life_guide_to_bottle_-feeding.pdf

Your hv or baby clinic should come up with answers, too.

But advice is to make up each bottle fresh.

And once sterilised, if you put the bottles together, they are ok for 24 hours.
