Baby feeding constantly after tongue tie division?

My little boy (8 weeks old) has his tongue tie cut on Monday and now two days in he's feeding constantly. Literally since about 7am this morning he hasn't been off my boob longer than 20 minutes. I'm so frustrated and at the end of my tether - there's a lot more contributing but that's a whole other thread! I guess my question is is this normal? How long can I expect this to go on for?

he's probably getting used to the new feel and stimulating supply

Not sure how long it will go on for though.

Have you had positioning etc checked? (Who by?)

How many wet/ dirty nappies?

Lots and lots of wet and dirty nappies! Had positioning checked by the midwife who divided his tongue tie and also a infant feeding specialist
