My three week old is formula fed and has 3-4oz every 1.5-2 hours

Is this normal for age?

It doesn't sound unusual to me, although I haven't formula fed. I don't think many newborns go for 3 to 4 hours between feeds.

Any tables like that will be averages, not something to aim for. It's better to respond to your baby and demand feed than worry about trying to give a certain amount of formula.

Ignore the tables and follow your child. As long as your DS is drinking the milk, putting in healthy weight, having plenty of wet/dirty nappies I wouldn't worry about it.
At that age babies stomachs are tiny and they need regular feeding.

A baby that age rarely goes 4 hours between feeds. I think at that age mine fed every 2-3 hours

Ahh perfect :)

Thank you all for the reassurance
